Hi, my name is Emily. What’s yours? Are you one of those funny-looking 2-legged creatures? I think they’re called humans. I hope you are one of those because, lately, some have been very nice to me (after being with those who were not so nice to me). Can you believe a sweet and pretty puppy like me could be treated badly? Well, those days are over!
Hey! Read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. I am very dedicated to my 4-legged and 2-legged friends. I won’t leave you! A nice person came along and took me in off of the streets and, now, I’m ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK?
Let me tell you a little more about myself. I am an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix and I am only about 6 months old. I’m not very good at math but that’s pretty close, I’d say. I have had all of my shots and have been spayed. YIKES! I weigh about 38 pounds.
Can you stand hearing more good stuff about me? Well, here goes. I am a nice, polite baby girl. I have already learned the doggie door on the first try! That means I’m smart and clever. I know it’s true because my foster mom smiles at me a lot and loves on me and says, “Good girl.” So, you see? It IS true! I am also loving and affectionate. I am an even-keel sort of girl, even at my young age. I’m easy-going.
My foster mom loves me SO much, she only wants me to fly to you. There are some places I could ride on a pet transport truck for 3 days and 3 nights but she doesn’t want to put me through that ordeal and, once you fall in love with me and want your home to become mine, you will want me to fly, too.
