Neville's Story...
Don't let his grumpy face fool you! Neville is one of the sweetest dudes around! He loves attention and enjoys following his people around and head-butting for pets. One of his favorite activities is to make biscuits on soft blankets before snuggling up for a nice nap! Besides snuggling, Neville also enjoys playing with toys and other cats. Despite the fact he is an adult, he still has some kitten left in him! He also quite enjoys exploring and you can often find him on top of furniture studying the lay of the land! Neville is a comically handsome cat. Not only does he have funny ears, he also has a stumpy little body, skinny tail, and a goofy walk! He is an absolute joy and would make a great addition to any household! Neville is fostered in Huntsville, AL and has already been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully vetted. His adoption fee is $25 and the first step to adopting this stud is to fill out a no-obligation, non-binding application at forrescue.net/cat-application. Neville looks forward to becoming a part of your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Neville, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
