My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Devo is a handsome blue & white boy, about 9 months old, and at 18 lbs is a 'biggy iggy'. He is a very good natured fellow, with both people and other dogs. Loves to play, run in the yard, and play fetch. Enjoys snuggling with you on the couch too. He is pretty good on a leash if you like to walk fast :), or he pulls. We are working on housetraining habits. Devo does tend to bark when left alone, so he is not a candidate for an apartment, and needs a fenced yard to run in. He'd be great at lure-coursing. He has already been through 2 homes in his young life (3 if you count the one that did not claim him as a stray), that did not realize the attention-neediness of this breed and their housetraining challenges. He needs an owner with plenty of time to devote to him and prior Italian Greyhound experience; another IG-buddy would be the best for him- he really loves other dogs. Devo is being fostered in Omaha; local adoptions only.
