Rizzo's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Rizzo's Story...
Rizzo is only around 4 months old, turned in due to housetraining difficulties like most IGs that come in to rescue. He is a very cute little guy and has been playing with the other dogs from the beginning. Since he is so young he will need somebody to be patient and work on his potty habits so they can develop fully. He has not had shots yet, but will get them and be fixed before being placed in a home. We don't know much about this little guy yet, but he is ready to explore the world. He is a wild Irish pattern of Red Fawn and white in color. Rizzo is being fostered in Lincoln, NE and local adoptions are preferred.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rizzo, a Lincoln Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
