My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE: Stitch hasn't had an accident in the house in months, and seems to not mind larger dogs much. When he was at our playday, he was greeting people at the door and many people commented on the good looks of this boy. (He is one of my all-time favorite fosters too.) Stitch is a 2-year-old, seal and white, very playful IG with a very high drive to chase rodents such as squirrels, birds, rabbits, etc. He is always in motion and wants to play with other dogs. He is shy towards people until he gets to know them. Stitch is partially housetrained, but has been known to mark things to establish his territory. He loves to go for walks and is leash trained. He will whine (or yelp) in a kennel and has allergies to things such as pig ears, and some shots. Stitch gets along with non-aggressive children, and likes to cuddle. He really clings to female owners and would do best in a house with female IGs or as a single dog (as much as he likes to play). He likes to chase things (balls, play catch, etc.), needs an owner who will have patience to gain his trust and is active (walks, playtime, etc). He doesn't mind cold weather as much as other IGs and will tolerate some cold so he can explore his territory. He was given to rescue due to housetraining issues. He will only be adopted to a family with a fenced yard. Stitch weighs 15 lbs. Local adoptions and someone with IG experience is preferred. Stitch is located in Lincoln, NE.April 19, 2024, 12:17 am
