Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is a very playful little girl around one year of age. She loves to run and play with the other dogs. She is ready to be adopted, and was spayed in mid-May. Lucy is believed to be an IG-Chihuahua mix, but we are not sure. Normally our rescue doesn't have mixes, but she came in at two weeks old, and we were told she was a pure-bred. This little girl weighs around 5 lbs. Lucy loves toys, and is doing pretty well with her potty habits. She will go outside, and has started to learn how to use potty pads also.
This little girl and her brother were born around Jan 20 before coming to our rescue. She is the larger of the two and very cute. Her coloring is all black except for a white patch on her chest. Already at her young age she wants to play a lot, so she will be a wild one. Currently she is being fostered in Lincoln, NE.
This little girl and 14 other dogs were part of a rescue effort between the Kearney NE Humane society, the Nebraska IG Rescue, and the State of Nebraska. The Nebraska IG Rescue ended up taking 11 of the 14 Italian Greyhounds, and 3 stayed with the Kearney Humane society. You can read more about at the following website.
