My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky is a young, energetic IG puppy looking for a home with plenty of time to help him grow up into a well mannered dog.  Rocky loves playing with other dogs of all sizes. His new home should have at least 1 other young active dog to play with, he can get quite annoying to older dogs that want nothing to do with his rowdy, rough play.  He is an avid chewer, like most puppies, and needs good supervision to make sure he chews only his puppy toys.  His favorite toys are braided ropes, rubber kongs, deer antlers and chasing tennis balls sure is a lot of fun too.  Rocky loves sleeping under the covers with you at night and on the couch next to you by day, when he isn't playing of course.  Rocky loves kids but is a little too rambunctious for those under 5 years.  He can go from being a wild child to a cuddly, sleepy puppy in no time so he needs a household that can deal with his puppy playfulness.  Rocky is good in his crate and doesn't fuss much but hasn't figured out his house training yet.  His new owner will need to create a structured feeding and potty schedule and be very mindful of watching him for signs he needs to potty to ensure he picks up on housetraining.  He was surrendered to rescue because of his lack of housebreaking skills and his rambunctiousness was too much for the 3 year old in the home.  He is current on all vaccinations. neutered and on monthly heartworm preventative.  At 5 mos old he weighs 14lbs.  Rocky was born in November 2013.
