Meet Chessie, a new arrival at the Coronado Animal Care Facility who is now ready for her forever home. This medium sized classic beauty with her chestnut colored coat and long slender legs is sure to turn heads. Chessie is a female mixed breed, who is three years old and weighs 15 pounds.

Our sweet girl’s easy going and fun personality compliment her good looks. Chessie loves her long walks, greeting those that she meets along the way with enthusiasm. She takes her time becoming acclimated to her environment, but as she takes it all in she becomes relaxed with her surroundings. After an afternoon of activity, she is ready to settle down with you and keep you company. Chessie would fit into about any household and would make a great family dog. Come meet this gentle sweetheart today!

The Coronado Animal Care Facility is open daily 9:00am to 4:00pm, except major holidays. It is located at 1395 First Street, at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in an adoption, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado dog adoption counselor.
