Casey's Story...

Casey is an energetic girl who would thrive as the athletic sidekick of someone who loves to run, hike, swim and be on the GO! This 1-year-old Pointer/Labrador Retriever mix is willing and able to keep up with you - and to keep you on your toes! Casey also loves to play fetch, so don't forget to stock up on tennis balls! If you are an experienced dog person seeking a savvy, high-energy companion to help keep you in tip-top shape, Casey might be just the girl for you! Dash down and get to know her today at Seattle Humane.

As with all of our dogs, Casey has been spayed, micro-chipped, and vaccinated. She will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and an identification tag. PLUS, most dog adoptions include six weeks of training in one of our on-campus dog behavior courses - a great way to start off on the right paw!

Casey will need to live in an adult-only home. Casey will need to be the only pet in the home. Please see our adoption advisors for additional behavior information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casey, a Bellevue Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
