Dandy's Story...
Dandy is a tiny little 8 pound spayed female Jack Russell/Rat Terrier. She is tri-colored with a smooth coat. All her shots are current, she has been heartworm tested, and she has been microchipped. She is in excellent health, is completely housebroken and loves to ride in the car. Dandy's problem is that she has been left alone too many hours and needs attention, love, and affection, as well as obedience training. Her owner's work load has increased in recent months and he is also going to school,so Dandy needs to be placed in a home where she can get lots of love and attention. No kids under the age of 8 years, please. A house with a fenced yard is a MUST for this breed of dog. Dandy is an active dog, loyal, and affectionate. She would be a perfect companion for a couple with no kids who would like a dog to dote on, walk with, and interact with in physical activity. Go to the JRRS website at www.jrtconnection.com and click on RESCUE. Email JRRS at rescue@jrtconnection.com for an application to adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dandy, a Scottsdale Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
