Say Hello to Rory!
Rory is a handsome, lanky teenage kitten boy who was found as a stray by a sweet friend of his foster moms. She called one night, distraught that such a small, little kitten was out alone in the alley near her house. With gentle coaxing, she managed to catch him and his foster mom swooped in to save him that night! The amazing ladies at The Philly Kitty agreed to sponsor his care, and he began to thrive! Rory is very sweet, but skittish. His purr is like a freight train gone mad, and he ADORES wet food! Because he can be spooked by loud noises or movements, a home without children would likely be best for him. He hasn't met the dogs in his foster home yet, but given his scaredy cat status, it's likely he'd prefer a home without them. However, he loves to run and play with his cat foster brothers and sisters! Rory is like a little shadow, never far behind you, tentatively hiding just out of view, to pop up beside you, rubbing against your legs when you least expect it. He's not a huge fan of being handled too much, but he does allow you to hold him and pet him at the same time (he'll make biscuits for you too while you're at it). He's the kind of kitty friend who will sneak up beside you to snuggle on the couch when you've decided to spend the night in. He's also a big fan of crinkly balls - and loves to bat them around!
