Bacall's Story...
What is cuter than a fuzzball puppy? TWO fuzzball puppies! We have Bogie and Bacall (for those old enough to remember the duo!) These pups came to us when a man surrendered a litter to our local humane society. These two were the smallest and they were getting picked on so we took them into our rescue and put them into a foster home. They are very sweet pups and get along fine with other dogs. They can be adopted together or separately. They are 10 weeks old (as of 3/24/16) and Bacall weighs 9 pounds and Bogie weighs 10 pounds. If you'd like to add one or both of them to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out the online application. Bogie and Bacall are being fostered in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bacall, a Bedminster Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
