My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sable. She is 11 weeks old. She has 11 other siblings. They have quite a story behind their entrance into this world. Their mom was rescued in a horrible state of emaciation and was also extremely anemic. The vet estimated that she was carrying at least 10 pups and that they were due within a couple weeks. Her foster mom cooked special foods for her and fed her the best of everything to build up the iron in her blood and put some much needed nutrients and weight on her to help her and the pups in their final stages of development.
Then one evening, mom was in labor… but you couldn’t tell. She was rushed to the vet at 2am where they were told that her uterus was so full it couldn’t contract to deliver them. She had to have an emergency c-section. But, the good news is that we have 12, VERY healthy pups!
It is clear that she had a couple sires. There are several that look Rottweilers, and then there are 3 that look like Goldens. All we know is that they are cute and sweet!
Sable is a very outgoing free spirit like her sister Trina. She is very brave when it comes to checking out new things. She is sweet and loving and absolutely gorgeous! If you are interested in adopting Sable, please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.thorr.org
