My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Juliet & Romeo are a bonded pair and we would like to keep them that way. They are very, very attached to each other. They were found together on a side street in Eastern PA not far from the NJ Boarder in the middle of the street. Police, ASPCA, local vets and neighbors in that area were all called and no one knew who they belonged to and no one has reported them missing. They had no collars, no leashes, and were not microchipped. (it was later discovered that someone saw a man dump them there and drive off).

Romeo is probably between 5 & 8 years old, and Juliet about 8 or 9 years old. They had a FULL Checkup, Blood work, Urine, Fecal, Heartworm Tests, updated vaccines and FULL DENTALS by our vet and have a CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH!

They are VERY Sweet and love all people and love to greet anyone they meet with enthusiastic tail wagging! They are both house trained as long as they are taken out at least every 4 hours. For overnight or times when you can't take them out for a longer period of time, they are also wee wee pad trained as well. Romeo can also wear a belly band (that we will supply) overnight till he is used to your home and routine. Once you find it stays clean for several nights, then it may not be needed after that.

They do bark at other dogs when on walks, so a home without other pets is recommended, or a home that has only another submisive spayed female dog. (But that would have to be tested)

These 2 sweeties are only available for adoption together, as we will not split them up. The ideal home for them would be with a senior couple or senior / retired person that can spend time with them as they really love being with their human(s). Even a work from home person or other person that is home most of the time. they would also be fine in a family with older kids (no babies or toddlers please). They love kids and adult alike.
