My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Red! I am a very cute chocolate lab mix with some white on my paws, chin and chest. I am a petite boy, approximately 40 pounds, and I need to put on a few pounds so bring on the treats! I am approximately one year old and was rescued from the pound where I came in as a stray. My foster mom doesn't think that I had ever been in a house before. Normal household noises like the ceiling fan and TV frightened me at first, but I am settling in nicely. I am doing pretty well with my potty training and get along with my foster brother and sister, even though they are older and don't like to play as much as I do. There is a kitty cat here and I am still not too sure if I am going to like it or not. I ride well in the car, take treats nicely, and I LOVE food! I am learning how to relax in the crate until I can be trusted when my humans are gone. All in all I am a good boy, but I am all puppy. My foster mom and I are working on sit and not jumping. I don't mean any harm, I just get so excited sometimes. I would really like a forever home where my humans will shower me with love and patience and continue my training so I can reach my full potential. Oh, and I would really love a ball to play with, they are my favorite!
