Daxter's Story...
Hi,
My name is Daxter and I am about 5 years old and weigh 23 pounds.  My momma was a pure bred schnauzer and we don't know who my daddy is, but I have a beautiful black shiny coat but I have a terrier face.

I love to run and play in the yard with my brothers and sisters.  I am very protective of my owners and my property, but I am very friendly once I get to know you.  I do have a grade 4 heart murmur, but my vet says that it isn't affecting my life.

I am being fostered in central Florida by Pat and my adoption fee is $275.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daxter, a Winter Haven Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Winter Haven, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Winter Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winter Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winter Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winter Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
