Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kenichi is a handsome 2 and a half-year-old black and tan Shiba Inu! DC SIR rescued him nearly 2 years ago as a 7 month old puppy--and so many people wanted to adopt him! He went to a family that had another Shiba Inu but they said he was too difficult to train and wanted to return him a few months after adopting him. Instead, they went to a training class to work with his puppy behavior. Two years later Kenichi found himself needing a new home and thankfully, DC SIR is there for him. He was returned for jumping on the kids, not liking it when he was told, “no” and getting defensive when he was put in his crate. DC SIR is so sorry Kenichi didn’t get the training he needed and hopes to find an active family who understands the importance of training for lifelong companionship!
Since being in foster care, Kenichi is once again demonstrating that he loves toys and is a typical active young dog. He needs training and some exercise!
