Paige's Story...
3/26/16 This puppy is infused with lots of love and cuddles. Paige is 6-7 weeks old. She will need to be taught all those good things that puppies need to learn to grow up to be a well behaved adult dog. She and her 11 siblings were born under an abandoned house in February 2016. They have been in foster care since they were a week old. These puppies are a true Heinz 57 mix. Mama Tess looks mostly chocolate lab mixed with other things, possibly pointer. She weighs about 75 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paige, a Charlotte Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
