Rocky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rocky's Story...
At just 9 months old, Rocky doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. What he does have is boundless energy and great eagerness to play. For this reason we will NOT be able to place Rocky in a home with small children.

Rocky came to us through a good Samaritan in Brooklyn who took him in after he was dumped on that person's property. Unable to give Rocky the care he needed, we stepped in and rescued Rocky.

At 55 pounds small, Rocky is currently living in a foster home in Jersey City. He is hysterically goofy, full of energy and loves people and other dogs. We have not had Rocky around cats to know how he is with them.

This gorgeous young man is completely housebroken, is not a big barker and has impeccably good manners when it comes to food. He doesn't beg for your food and allows you to remove food and toys from his mouth. Rocky is up-to-date on his shots, neutered and microchipped. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Union Beach Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Union Beach, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Union Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
