Sydney's Story...
Hello friends! My name is Sydney. I am an approximately 1 year old Aussie mix. I am house trained, crate trained, I walk well on a leash, and I get along very well with other dogs, cats, adults, and children. I play fetch, and love to go on long walks or play at the dog park. I will even run with you, but I am also content to snuggle on the couch. Please don't hesitate to email my rescue about me! Their email address is thehalfwayhouseforanimals@gmail.com. I am in a foster home in Salisbury, NC.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sydney, a Arlington Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
