My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonnie is water loving lab mix! One of her very favorite things in life is chasing the stream of water from the hose. Also loves her play time with other dogs and just being outside exploring the backyard with her friends (dogs and people alike). Bonnie is smart and has learned quickly how to live with and around the horses at her foster home. She is good with kids and we think that a home with kids 6 yrs and older would be a particularly good fit for her. Bonnie is a playful, sweet, goofy puppy and could accidentally knock down a younger child when playing. She is a free spirited young girl (about 5 months old as of March 15, 2016 and weighs about 25 lbs) --- and, like most free spirits, she doesn't want to be caged in small spaces. Meaning she is not a fan of crates at all. So Bonnie is really hoping for a home that doesn't have the need to crate her.

Here is what her foster family says about her: Bonnie is a smart, inquisitive, energetic lab mix with soft tan fur. She loves to play in the water hose and loves the outdoors. She is very observant of her surroundings. She will fetch, walks well on a leash and we are still working on the “sit” command. I introduced her to my granddaughter, Lexi, this weekend (March 26) and, after 20 minutes or so, Bonnie and Lexi were fast friends. Bonnie would lay in Lexi’s lap and follow Lexi around. We have a small farm and I let Bonnie “help” with my chores.

Bonnie is currently in Jackson, Mississippi. However, transportation to the New England area is provided by Animal Rescue Front and is included in the adoption fee. If you're interested in taking her into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/
