Danae (Da-nay)
DOB: January of 2016
Adoption fee: $200.00

Danae is a sweet Lab/terrier mix. She could weigh anywhere from 35-55 pounds when fully grown. Even though she can become very stimulated with play and will need some guidance to help her control herself, she should do well with children 5 years and older. She may do well with other dogs pending a match-up. She is trainable with cats who are used to being around dogs. She may require a fenced-in yard pending your location. Puppies are a lot of work! Prior to applying for Danae make sure you are ready for puppy care. Consistent training, vet care, and proper exercise is key to having a well behaved puppy.

Danae's adoption fee is $200.00.

* All HSSCM dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccines, de-wormed, heartworm tested if over 6 months, and on heartworm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danae (Da-nay), a Battle Creek Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
