My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Doogie Bowser is about 2 yrs old and weighs 16lbs. He was marked rescue only because although he was ok for his vaccinations, he didn't take kindly to his blood being drawn for a heart-worm test. He also is not crazy about having his toe nail clipped. The shelter was overcrowded , his stray hold time up, so he was almost out of luck. We stepped in and took him into our program. He is heart-worm negative, fully vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped and on preventatives. We also had him groomed as his fur was so overgrown, you couldn't see his eyes. Doogie gets along with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. He is friendly with humans, but we suggest he go to a home with kids who are over 10. He is smart and has already learned to sit. Doogie needs someone willing to do more training. We think he might make a good agility dog. He is mostly poodle, what he is mixed with is a guess.
