Here's what the humans have to say about me:
To MEET Casey - fill out an application. Cut and paste this link into your web browser: www.welcomehomedogrescue.org/adoption/application-to-adopt-a-companion/
Weight: 15 lbs.
Age: 5 months
Personality: Outgoing, friendly, playful, sweet, happy-go-lucky, affectionate, loves to tumble and play with other dogs
Coat: Silky, soft, will require regular bathing and grooming every 4-8 weeks
Training: None
Potty trained: No, foster parents are working on this
Health: Excellent
History: Rescued from a high kill shelter in S. Korea, along with her brother Casey. Cockers have a hard time getting adopted in Korea, since they have a hyper reputation. We brought both puppies to California to find their forever families.
Fostered in: La Habra Heights, CA (local applications only)
Type of home: Family or single active person. Must have time to spend socializing and training, along with regular daily exercise. Cockers are active, sensitive dogs.
Crate trained: Yes
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Kids: Yes
Good with Cats: Unknown, but is young enough that he can be trained to be good around cats
Adoption fee (non-refundable): $300
All dogs are fully vetted, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations.
Our adoption process looks like this:
1. Adoption application review by WHDR board
2. Adoption application approval
3. Meet and greet
4. Home safety check
5. Final approval and adoption finalized
Our volunteers, donors and adopters mean the world to us! Without you, we couldn't do what we do - saving the lives of abused, neglected and abandoned dogs and providing them with a loving forever home.
