Winnie's Story...
Winnie is a 1 year old, female, Wheaton Terrier/Irish Terrier mix. We rescued her from living under a porch in Detroit. She was very shy and frightened at first, but is quickly coming out of her shell. Winnie loves to lay by her human, explore the back yard, and receive all of the attention that she can get. She is wonderful with other dogs and cats and is currently in a foster home with both. Winnie is spayed, completely up to date on vaccines (for one year), micro chipped, wormed, on flea and heartworm prevention, and house trained. She would make a wonderful addition to someone that is home a lot and can give her all of the love that she missed out on during her first year of life. Winnie's adoption fee is $275. If you are interested in adopting Winnie, please contact us at chainedinc@gmail.com and request an adoption application. Home visit and reference checks always required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winnie, a Riverview Wheaten Terrier/Irish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Irish Terrier for sale in Riverview, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Irish Terrier dog from a breeder in Riverview.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Riverview already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Riverview breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Irish Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Irish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Riverview paves the way for another one to be saved.
