My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I live the saying, “to know me, is to love me”. When I first met Lavender that is exactly what came to mind. Just by looking at her in her kennel you would not think she is such a good dog, but once you take her out you can witness it. In her kennel she seems shy or scared, but once you take her out the fun begins. Lavender is such a sweetie pie. She is very playful and loves the outdoors. If you were training for any type of agility, Lavender would be an awesome partner. And although she likes to run, she is also a very good on her leash and walks really well.
Lavender knows the sit command; and since she is young, teaching her new commands would not be hard. For the first 15 minutes she likes to enjoy the fresh air and the sunlight, but then she will come over and want to play with you. After she has run out all of her energy, she is like a teddy bear. She likes to give lots of hugs and kisses. So you can get a two for one with her, a ball of energy or a couch potato. She has a sharp temperament. That simply means she reacts to individual environmental stimuli without thought. Lavender is kennel trained and will wait to go outside to potty.

All dogs in the adoption program are examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and micro-chipped prior to leaving the shelter.
The adoption fee for dogs over 25 pounds and over 6 months is $50
