LUCKY **COURTESY POST**'s Story...
COURTESY POST** We are trying to help LUCKY's owners find her a new home. Please contact Andrea at andread1977@yahoo.com.

Lucky is about 8 years old. She has always been raised in a farm environment and used to herd everything from cattle to goats, but in the last few yrs she has not had much interest in herding. She is not good around poultry unsupervised. She listens really well and loves to follow us around the property. She is very energetic, even at 8 yrs old. She likes cats and is friendly with friendly dogs. Lucky will need to be spayed before adoption is final.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LUCKY **COURTESY POST**, a Orwigsburg Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Orwigsburg, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Orwigsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orwigsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orwigsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orwigsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
