Brownie is a sweet, gentle, black and tan Chihuahua/MinPin mix. We believe she is 7-8 years old and she weighs between 12-15 lbs. Brownie's human mom has had to move out of state to care for a family member, but is not able to bring her sweet Brownie with her. So this darling little girl is looking for a new, loving, forever family. Can you help her? Here is what the information we have been given...
Brownie was rescued from a shelter in Los Angeles 7 years ago. She is spayed and has had all of her shots including rabies. According to her previous mom, Brownie is very gentle and friendly and does not bark but loud noises have always scared her. Brownie gets along with cats, dogs, little kids and men. She is housetrained and enjoys going for walks -though doesn't like the rain. One of her favorite things to do is lie in the sun, after all she was a California girl. She plays with her toys and will play fetch with you. Brownie likes to sit on your lap and sleep next to you at night.

ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
