Buttercup's Story...
This sweet little norfolk terrier mix is approx 2 years old and 22 lbs. She looks as though she has had several litters of pups, poor girl. She is a precious little girl that was so matted we had to have her shaved down. She is quiet and well behaved, has a very sweet disposition, does not really play with the other dogs and does not like noisy dogs that get in her face. She loves to sit up or sleep in her dog bed and seems to be pretty well leash and house trained. She loves people and is going to make a great companion for someone.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttercup, a Norwalk Norfolk Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norfolk Terrier for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Norfolk Terrier dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norfolk Terrier breeders who help with Norfolk Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
