Gwennie's Story...
Sweet Gwennie ! Gwennie is a 2 year old lab who weighs around 60 lbs. She is a doll and as sweet as she can be with her mild-mannered and happy disposition. Gwennie would be a great fit for any family, from the young family with children, the single person looking for a loving companion or empty nesters looking for someone to hang out with. She is great with everyone and especially likes children. Gwennie is good with other dogs and with her sweet personality would probably be fine with the kitties. We can cat test if needed. She is house trained and crate trained. Gwennie is very loving and would love to have a family of her own to love. She has been spayed, is up to date on vaccination including rabies and is micro-chipped. If you would like to learn if your family would be a good fit for Gwennie, please go to our website, www.luckylabrescue.com, complete an online application and indicate her in the notes section. She is available in the Midwest and in New England.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gwennie, a Lewisville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lewisville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lewisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
