Flora's Story...
How ADORABLE are this litter of pups?! Felix, Fargo, Frodo, Fonzi, and Flora were surrendered to us by a family whose dogs had an “accidental litter.” Their mom was a chihuahua and their dad was a french bulldog/boston terrier mix. These itty-bitties are approximately 8 weeks old and weigh right under 2 pounds each. They do very well with children and other animals. They are all playful, yet love to snuggle and given lots of puppy kisses. If you are interested in adding one of these babies to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an application. These guys (plus one girl) are being fostered in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flora, a Staunton Chihuahua/French Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/French Bulldog for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Chihuahua/French Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/French Bulldog breeders who help with Chihuahua/French Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
