Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*These two cocker pups must be Adopted together. They need an active, adult only home with no children.
We are Sam and Samson 2, 4 month old red n white cocker boys. We are brothers who came to rescue from a backyard breeder who basically kept us in a rabbit cage surrounded by tin. There was so little light, we couldn't even tell day from night. One day, these nice folks came to rescue us. They quickly learned that we were fearful and lacking in social skills so we would run from them and pee all over the place. Lucky for us, they have been patient, very understanding and have worked with us to make us more comfortable with things. We are both current on all vet care issues.
It has been a slow process of learning, but now we are peeing less, acting more like puppies and are much happier. These folks love and adore us and feel that we must be adopted to a home together because we need and love each other so much. WE CANNOT BE SPLIT UP. Once adopted to an approved and loving home, these kind folks want the new owner to keep our names as they are in honor of 2 of their rescue cockers who died many years ago. Our adoption fee is $350 each..... $700 for both of us. We will do best in an all adult home with someone middle aged and very active. This way, we can continue to learn proper social skills, go on walks and other daily activities to get our exercise and possibly hike with you too. An environment with children is not recommended due to our lack of human touch when we needed it most in the early part of growing up. There will be no exceptions!
**Please do not ask these kind folks to reduce our fee of $700.00, it barely covers what has been spent on the two of us.
