My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTIONS IN SO CA ONLY. Lucy is a very affectionate, super smart (she is the smartest Papillon we've ever had and that's saying a lot because Paps are smart) purebred female Papillon who is between 2 and 3 years old. She has the classic sable Pap markings, including the trademark "eyeliner", and a flowing, low-shed coat. She loves to snuggle and to be rubbed all over and, although she had no previous training, she learns quickly with treat reinforcements ;. She is good on a leash and in the car and is crate-trained. She has lived on good terms with a child. She is not so comfortable with other dogs. She tends to be territorial and while she doesn't fight with her roommates, she isn't friendly with them either. She would undoubtedly be happiest as an only dog. And she probably would not be good with a cat or other small animals. Lucy needs a very active forever home in which she is not left alone most of the day. She is a high-energy dog who needs lots of physical and mental stimulation. Lucy smiles most of the time.
