Odie has a lot to say. Our talkative and higher energy Shepherd Mix is 1 year-old. We saw this gold colored guy at our local animal control. He so badly wanted to be saved, we couldn't leave him behind. Odie immediately wrapped his front paws around us and thanked us. It was truly a rewarding rescue. Odie had his freedom ride from animal control and popped his head up to watch the scenery as he knew he had hit the jackpot. Odie is a medium size dog. He wasn't fond of a crate at first. But, Odie is working hard on learning the rules of his environment. We are proud to report that he is making great strides of improvement each and everyday. Odie is super lovable, leash trained and will keep his kennel clean when kept on a routine. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Odie will be a charming new addition to an active household. If you want this guy to put a bounce in your step then please complete an online application at ITVRescue.org. Please come on by and meet Odie now!
It Takes A Village Canine Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) dog rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless dogs irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, animal control, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, black dogs and other hard-to-place dogs.
