Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scooter is a white/gray/tan Spaniel who weighs 15 lbs and is about 2 years old. He is a shy boy who is playful and comfortable inside his temporary foster home when his person is around but he gets scared and cries when he is left alone. This is not unusual with dogs who are new to Rescue and we are working with him on this to calm his anxiety. Good news, though, he is getting better day by day and is settling in and starting to chew on his toys and get more playful and curious. He has a silly, puppy-like energy and he is truly a lapdog at heart. Scooter walks well on leash although he is still sticking very close to his person when outside. He is learning to sleep in his crate and is doing well with that with some initial whining. He may be more anxious around men but he does warm up if given time. He is sleeping and eating well. He tries to climb into his foster mom’s lap any chance he can get so we know there he a serious cuddlebug just waiting to blossom.
