Isabella's Story...
Isabella is a sweet tabby who is having some problems adjusting to life in a cage. Her owners took her to the vet to be spayed and left her there because they no longer wanted a cat. Needless to say she's been very sad and we are working to help her to feel better. While she has come a long way, she'll really blossom once she is in a home. She seems to have a preference for men, often coming to the door of her cage when a man enters the cat room! Please consider giving this sweet little girl a chance to have a forever home where she can feel safe again.
I'm FIV/FELV negative, spayed and up to date on all shots. You can visit me at our adoption center in the Nanuet Petsmart, Route 59, Nanuet NY or email rosewoodmk@gmail.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isabella, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
