Summer *Adopted's Story...
Summer is an adorable 3 yr old Great Pyrenees mix, prob with Anatolian Shepard, that came to GPRO with her sister Autumn. Summer is a total clown, loves attention, and social butterfly! She is a super outgoing, playful gal that loves everyone she meets including kiddos. She is house trained, great with other dogs of any size, cat safe. She and her sister are quite bonded and do everything together; our goal is to find them a family together; double the love!

Summer has more of a med. length coat that would be lower maintenance. Summer is fully vetted, including heart worm neg., vaccinated, spayed, dewormed, current on monthly prev, and microchipped. To apply for adoption you can submit the adoption application at our website or facebook page: www.wix.com/gprofok/gpr Meet and greets are welcomed at the foster home for approved applicants. Summer and Autumn are fostered in the Tulsa area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Summer *Adopted, a Tulsa Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Tulsa, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Tulsa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tulsa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tulsa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tulsa paves the way for another one to be saved.
