Important Note

Bootsie is best friends with Noah. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Bootsie and his brother Noah were rescued as babies and adopted. They ended up homeless and while fending for themselves, were rescued and brought back to us. Noah was rescued first and he seemed to be okay. Bootsie was rescued some time later and he suffered from some malnutrition that literally made his face sink in, giving him a rather flat looking face. Since cats have very little fat or muscle tone in their faces, it took a long time for Bootsies face to regain a more normal look. It also made his eyes kind of goopy because his bottom eye lashes irritate his eyes as they are slightly inverted, because they are still a little sunken in. It has taken us several months to rehabilitate Bootsie and he continues to improve daily. His eyes are very close to being back to normal now. We put a few drops of eye lubricant in his eyes a couple of times per week and that has helped him tremendously. Noah and Bootsie need to be adopted together. They are both very sweet and affectionate. They are both very big boys!
