My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Good day! I'm Fin, kind of like Finnegan, a jolly Irish chap. It's a pleasure making your acquaintance today. The Irish are known for being friendly and for their sense of fun and humor. I don't know if I'm truly Irish, but with a name like Fin, I like to pretend I am and that a pot of gold is waiting for me at the end of the rainbow (the pot of gold is your house!). Like the Irish, I am fun, friendly and humorous.

I came to MaxFund as a stray cat. I had been living on the streets for a while and got pretty matted. But I got groomed and now look very handsome. I must have lived with a person at some point, because I am friendly and loving. Oh well. Now I'm here to find a forever home. The folks who found me said I am "easy-going, friendly, quiet and playful."

I have tested positive for FeLV. So I should only live with other cats with FeLV or be your only cat. Once I know a cat and feel comfortable, I get along well with them. In fact, I met a buddy here at the shelter that I enjoy wrestling with -- I sometimes even jump on top of him and pin him down! It's great fun. His name is Casey in case you want two cats who will amuse and entertain you with their playing. If you don't want two cats, FeLV is not transmittable to humans or dogs, so don't worry your pretty (or handsome) little head about that. The folks who brought me here said I was scared of dogs though. So maybe we should just live alone. Trust me, I am cool enough to be an only cat and fulfill your needs.

I am extremely playful. I LOVE to play with feather toys, and I go into complete hunter mode. For that reason, you will probably laugh at me (see, I am humorous), because I act like I am hunting birds. Sure, it's just a toy, but I am a hunter! I also enjoy pets and am a pretty friendly guy. When I get overstimulated, I may nip you. But I make up for it by sitting in your lap and making you feel loved and needed. So how about it? The Irish are supposed to be lucky, so bring the luck of the Irish home with you when you come get me. Because I have tested positive for FeLV, I am also available for foster. If you want to meet me and hopefully foster or adopt me, please ask the staff. I am waiting in a cage until that time, so please hurry!
