Finnley is a sweet and energetic young adult (3/29/13) who loves to play and cuddle. Finn would do best in a home with other small dogs with which to play. He is neutered and up to date on all shots and heartworm prevention.

Finn is a very special boy with very special needs. He has Congenital Megaesophagus (MegaE) and will always need a special diet and to be feed while he is standing up, then held vertically for about 20 minutes after each feeding. He also has to be watched very closely for any regurgitation, as it can cause Aspiration Pneumonia, which is deadly.

With proper care, Finn will live to the same age as any other IG. So if you are prepared to spend the next 15 or so years hand feeding this precious baby boy, please complete an adoption application at www.txigrescue.org

I strongly encourage anyone interested in Finn to do some research on MegaE before applying to adopt him. This is something he will always have and his forever home will always have to be diligent in his care.
