My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maya is a very sweet girl with a high pitched bark and squeal....she just likes to be a vocal girl. When she attaches to her human she does not want to be out of eye sight when in public....she would really like to just stay home, but enjoys a car ride without a destination lol.

Maya Is a very, straight up HIGH JUMPER! Whether you are sitting in your recliner watching TV, or sitting at a desk doing some office work, she’ll burrow under her favorite blanket right beside you or on your lap. She is the first one under the covers at night and stays put…she doesn't like to sleep alone! Just keep in mind that while she’s doing this, she’s also burrowing right down into the middle of your heart. Maya plays well with other dogs, but sometimes gets a little rough…she is a take charge kind of girl. 

Maya does best with being in the company of other dogs and has a tendency to have SEPARATION ANXIETY when you are not home. She also wants to go do her business outside and come right back in however if it's raining or cold she is awesome about going to a potty pad.

Maya would be best suited with a person/family that has another IG or smaller dog and is not gone long periods of time (2 to 3 hours) and can devote lots of TLC to her.
