Are you looking for a walking/jogging partner???? Are you looking for a fun, energetic, playful, lively, happy and silly dog??? Well, my name is Oreo and I am your guy!!! Sometimes people get puppies and don’t train them and suddenly they are my size and their owners feel overwhelmed and give up. That is exactly what happened to me!! My family didn’t have time to train me or teach me manners so I was put out in the back yard and then they decided they didn’t want me anymore because I got too big. They thought I was a Jack Russell Terrier but it turns out I was something a little bigger (like maybe a bird dog?). It wasn’t my fault I got big so I was really confused and depressed when my family gave me away and I had to go live in a foster home. My foster mom is really nice and she gives me lots of love but she says I am a very good boy and I deserve to have my very own forever home! I have been working really hard on my manners and I have learned “sit”, “down” and I am great at walking/jogging on a leash!! I am eager to learn new tricks and am always ready for a good time. With a little patience and love, I can become a prize-winning pupil and make you so proud! I would love to do that!
Oreo is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $150.00. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
