Munchkin's Story...
Hi! My name is Munchkin. I was surrendered from a local pet store because they said I had some bad habits. I'm thinking they got me mixed up with another cutie because I haven't shown any signs of bad habits at the rescue. I currently live with the nice folks at Five Points Ferret Refuge who take great care of me, but, I'm looking for my furever home.

I'm very sweet, active, and have a pleasing personality. I enjoy running, playing, going through tubes, and pretty much any toy I can get my little paws on. I do very well with other ferrets but am a wonderful companion on my own so I'd do great either way.

I'm spayed and up to date on all my vaccinations so I'm ready to meet you and share all of my love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Munchkin, a Indianapolis Ferret was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ferret for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Ferret from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ferret breeders who help with Ferret rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
