Nora and her siblings were surrendered after their mom was hit by a car. They lived in a rural area and were running free. Before they were run over we took them in. They are at our vet now being spayed and vetted and will be available for meet and greets this coming weekend, April 9-10th. They are not potty trained but are being crate trained. Nora is the smallest puppy and weighs less than 5lbs and is 3 months old. She's sweet, quiet, and playful without being overwhelming or hyper. Adoption fee is $225.00 for this pet. This generally includes age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, a wellness exam, dewormer, fecal, hw and flea preventative that is given while in our care, microchip and sometimes registration depending on the company, as well as any other medications or procedures needed while in our care. email for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nora, a Metairie Schnauzer (Miniature)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Chihuahua for sale in Metairie, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Metairie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Metairie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Metairie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Metairie paves the way for another one to be saved.
