This boy is gorgeous His name is OLIVER a handsome Purebred Weimaraner.he is approx 66lb & 6 yrs old, he has a wonderful temperament & Weimy features,he is a lover, and if I had to use one word to describe Oliver it would be AWESOME. OLIVERS`S story starts here))) Oliver is an owner surrender. He had been with his family as a puppy, Olivers Mom Called & said she needed to surrender her Weimaraner I took one look at the photos she sent me Oliver looked miserable and sad, His mom was not a bad owner she was losing her home working long hours and Oliver did not have a yard or companion,If you watch Oliver’s video you will see the photos and transformation of Oliver and you will realize why we evaluate our Weims and why we ask for the things we do when searching for a new forever family.When Oliver arrived I was anxious for him. Leaving a family which is all he had known in his life usually promotes a difficult transition. Well not with this boy he sailed through his transition he was just the happiest boy on earth being able to run and play on an acre of land with playmates, Oliver has become one of the happiest Weimaraners we have had in rescue he loves to play ball he will play all day chasing lizards and running he has built up some wonderful muscle tone.
Oliver was reported to have allergies so we kept him on the same food his previous family researched for him. Oliver’s fur is a little thin but is coming back nicely this we put down to stress he doesn’t have any stress with us he has all the freedom to run play and just have fun. Oliver is a super loving boy and hasn’t a mean bone in his body he gets along with all the others. Oliver just wants a person that will love him and play ball and generally interact with him, He loves to be around his humans but will take off in the yard with his ball chase his lizard and generally make his own fun
We are looking for a special Weimaraner family that has time to invest in him He needs someone that is going to spend time with him and really make him part of a family. Oliver responds to cuddles and love and needs security stability and a routine and most of all he needs Love. Oliver is a good boy a joy to be around. He is playful and energetic
Oliver is happy snuggling and being around you Like most Weims he is smart and he may do the odd counter surf routine. Oliver is so lovable he deserves a family that will give him love and attention. he will warm to you and just melt your heart. he knows commands sit & down, Like most Weims he likes car rides and he is excellent in the car ,We do not crate any of our weims and we are looking for a family that will not crate him At night time he loves to sleep on your bed and snuggle and have belly rubs he loves to be close to his humans. If you dont like a dog on your furniture Oliver is NOT for you he likes home comforts, Oliver is housebroken. He will come when called. its so hard not to fall in love with this boy And its very difficult to find anything negative to say about him he is just a lover someone that is home most of the time would be perfect for Oliver however he is fine to leave in the house , He is Neutered, current on all vaccinations he is micro.chipped heart worm negative and up to date on monthly prevention. he is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Oliver a wonderful forever home where he can have stability, structure & security in his life. A forever family who will cherish him and give him the love and attention he needs, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever we don't ever want to see this boy back in rescue. A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities would be perfect Oliver will go from awesome to super awesome with the right interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect for Oliver like most Weims they don’t like to be apart from you for hours on end. A home with a FENCED in yard is Essential Another dog would be wonderful for him to play with a female would be perfect. Oliver would also be good as an only dog as long as there is a lot of interaction he is good with children but we are looking for a home with no young children and NO CATS an older family is required someone that has time to, We are definitely looking for a Weimaraner owner The weimaraner breed is not for everyone they are unique and need a lot of understanding, If you think that you have what it takes for this exceptional boy and can open your heart & home to make Olivers life complete you will be rewarded with a loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure.
