Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MASON: 3-4 Year Old Yellow Male Lab Neutered 80 Pounds
Mason was a stray in the Easy Bay and was picked up by the Humane Society of the North Bay. He has been at the shelter for a month. The shelter staff really liked him, he passed all their temperament tests with flying colors. He came in with a collar and a microchip that was not registered but Mason sat there waiting for his owner to come and no one showed up to claim him. A volunteer with GGLRR saw him on Facebook and made the call to see if they wanted our help placing him. WE went over met Mason and knew he would be a great dog for our program.
What we know about Mason:
Mason jumped right into the car and went right into the transporters crate with no issues. He was very calm and quiet in the crate for the ride to our boarding facility. He knows sit, fetch and will take treats nicely from your hand. We currently have him at our boarding facility and he plays with other dogs, does not seem to be a barker and is very clean in his kennel run. He is a strong dog and does have a lot of energy.
We would want a home for Mason that can give him plenty of exercise and continued training. We think Mason would be fine in a home with another dog but we are not sure about cats. We would suggest Mason go to a home with older kids as he can knock down a small child.
Health:
Mason is in great shape and he is one happy BOY! Mason has been neutered, has all his shots, is heartworm negative, had a fecal test, had his ears cleaned, is microchipped and had a well check. Mason is located in Petaluma.

(Please keep in mind we are all volunteers, most of us work full time and we all have personal lives. I do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient and I will be back in touch with you. When the dogs are in foster homes then it may take longer as we need to touch base with the fosters for updates on the dogs. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week and we do not have a facility that we keep the dogs housed in. They are scattered all over the Bay Area.)
