GEORGE's Story...
George is ready for a new life with his girlfriend Jeanette. He’s come a long way and now walks well on leash and is housebroken. He absolutely loves being inside after spending his whole life in a backyard, and he’s already honing his couch-potato skills! He’s very affectionate. George is more mellow and chill but still has energy for walks. We don’t know how he lost his right eye, but we’re hoping the eye specialist can improve the vision in left eye. They love the crate, but only if together. George and Jeanette were left outside for years in a back yard and although he was free to roam, he never left the side of his true love, Jeanette. They will need to be adopted together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GEORGE, a Los Angeles Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
