Tulsa's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Tulsa's Story...
(ID #A28597847) This is Tulsa.

Tulsa is a two year old Boxer mix. She first came to the shelter as a stray.
She was adopted but had to be returned when it became apparent that she didn't do well around younger kids. She has been spayed and microchipped.

At least here at the shelter her basic needs are met, like food and water plus a roof over her head. However, she is longing to find her forever home. She has plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for her?? Come and have a meet-n-greet with her.

She is a young lady at heart. She has been checked out by a veterinarian. She received a set of preventative shots and has been wormed. She tested negative for heartworms.

She is being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice. Sheltered Paws will rebate back to you a dollar value up to but not to exceed $100.00.

You can contact her friend, Kathie at dog_picture@yahoo.com for more information on how she can become part of your family.

See you soon, TULSA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tulsa, a Cincinnati Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
