Punkin's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Punkin's Story...
Punkin
Female (spayed)
Short-haired orange tabby
3-4 years old

I would describe Punkin as delicate. She has a fine bone structure. She is an absolute love who is just looking for someone to spoil her with attention. She came to us from the streets, already spayed. We were certain someone was missing her, but she had no microchip and no one ever claimed her.

She doesn't seem to know how to play (with feather toys) and is happiest being held and pet. If you are looking for a companion to sit on the couch and watch TV with, this is your girl.

Punkin would prefer to be an only pet. She doesn't like other animals, even fellow cats, and will hiss if she smells another animal on you.

Current food: Authority Adult kibble cat food.
Current litter: Grreat Choice non-scoopable scented clay litter

All of our animals are in foster care. For the protection of our foster families, we will not arrange a meet-and-greet with the animal until an application is completed. Please email centralinfostercats@gmail.com to request an application (DOC, PDF or email format).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Punkin, a Speedway Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Speedway, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Speedway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Speedway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Speedway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Speedway paves the way for another one to be saved.
