Johnny is a male Cockapoo mix only 1 year old. He is a soft charcoal gray color with white on his paws and chest. He is a very handsome boy. His curls are non-shedding, and are thick and downy soft. Johnny is the friendliest, most gentle sweetheart you will ever meet. If you want a playful dog, Johnny is your boy. He is absolutely excellent with other dogs of all sizes, great with children, gentle, kind, and perfect out in public. He is not a barker and welcomes company into the home with ease. Johnny is everyone's friend and has a jolly tail wagging and big doggie grin for anyone who wants to meet him, pet him and give him attention. Johnny is a star at the dog park and you can take him anywhere without worry. Johnny loves to be included in daily family life, but he is not demanding and will adapt himself to the household with ease. Johnny absolutely adores playing with other dogs so the ideal home for him would be with another fun, merry doggie friend to romp around with. Johnny is good with his potty training and sleeps all night long in a doggie bed until his human friends wake up. He walks easily on leash without pulling and is a wonderful canine citizen. We adore this young dog and are confident that he is going to make a fantastic family pet. Johnny was rescued from the shelter where he was brought in with a severe eye injury. Vets suspect he was hit by a car. His right eye was actually hanging out of the socket by a thread. Vets surgically repaired his eye and he is completely recovered and healthy now. However, Johnny currently does not see out of his right eye, although with time he may regain partial eyesight in the one eye. His other eye is completely normal and Johnny has no limitations as far as his eyesight goes. He runs around everywhere and if you didn't know, you would never suspect he is blind in one eye. Johnny is robust and healthy and has been vet checked multiple times. He has spent significant time during his recovery in a foster home so we know him well. We can't say enough good things about this joyful, kind-hearted young dog. He is deserving of a great life and has a bright future ahead of him! Johnny is ready for his new forever loving home today.
Johnny’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Johnny is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.
